Samos Anthemis
Description
A Vin de Liqueur crafted from Muscat grapes grown in the semi-mountainous vineyards of Samos. This wine undergoes 5 years of aging in oak barrels, where it develops an attractive amber hue and a captivating bouquet. The nose is exceptionally complex and dense, featuring aromas of flowers, honey, tobacco, and chocolate, alongside dried fruits. Notes of honeycomb, butterscotch, fruit preserves, cherries in spirit, and roasted nuts complete its sophisticated aromatic profile.

It pairs exquisitely with haute pâtisserie creations characterized by intense sweetness and aromatic complexity. It is also an ideal match for traditional syrupy desserts (phyllo-based), aged yellow cheeses, and desserts featuring nuts or fruit tarts. For a more sophisticated experience, try it with foie gras accompanied by quince or fig preserves, or alongside handcrafted ice cream. Enjoyed on its own at the end of a dinner, it serves as a delightful companion to a light-bodied cigar.
