Mr. Skoutas succeeds Ms. Konstantina Spyropoulou, who completed her term as President, contributing substantially to strengthening the role of the Interprofessional Organization and the promotion of Greek wine. The new administration takes over at a critical juncture for the sector, with key priorities being strategic planning for the wine sector, support for producers and the further development of the competitiveness and extroversion of Greek wine.
The new President stated that the main priority of the new term is the comprehensive strategic planning for Greek viticulture, aiming at sustainable development, strengthening competitiveness and forming a coherent framework of actions for Greek wine.
After the completion of the General Assembly and the change of presidency from the CEA to the KEOSOE, an event was held for the wine sector, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, Mr. Christos Kellas, as well as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, Ms. Argyro Zerva.
