Samos Grand Cru is ranked in the category “Small but mighty” by Olly Smith, Theodoros Kyriakou and Efi Tsournava, within the frame of wine tasting and masterclasses that took place during London Greek Wine Festival(www.londongreekwinefestival.co.uk) on 13-14/10/2017.  “Small” due to the size of the bottle, exported for years to England and “mighty” obviously thanks to the unique personality of this sweet wine. This sweet Moschato Samos wine has sharp acidity, intense complexity and long aftertaste.

 

Olly Smith (www.ollysmith.com) is a wine expert with great influence in England and many presentations in tv shows as consultant. He presents his own tv program on Food Network and Travel Channel. He is the writer of four books on wine and gastronomy and a column in Mail of the Sunday Magazine Event. His passion for Greek wine is the reason he was invited to wine tastings and masterclasses in London Greek Wine Festival, held in the historical exhibition area West Handyside Canopy, Kings Cross, London.

The restaurant offers the best Greek gastronomy creations emphasizing on tradition and quality, aiming at the promotion of the original Greek recipes to the British market.
