Natural Wine «Vounitis»
“Vounitis-the Mountain Man” comes from organic vines at 1,100 m. altitude at the top of Mount Ampelos. It is a wine with high acidity, straight and typical, particularly dry and full mouth, with fruity aromas, hints of yeast and herbs and a long aftertaste. It has been aged for 12-months in tank and barrel. It pairs delightfully with fish, especially the Mediterranean version of “plaki” (grilled in the oven in tomato sauce). It also pairs ideally with ethnic dishes such as curried chicken , lamb with aromatic herbs or lemon-flavored pork.
