With GOLD AWARD were honored again the wine "flagships" of the Samos Cooperative, the HIGH PEAKS and the SAMOS SWEET WINE, in the most prestigious and impartial competition in Asia, «ASIA WINE TROPHY» which is under the auspices of the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine).

The promising Asian market has been growing rapidly in recent years and the dry and sweet wines of the Samos Cooperative have been placed very high on the pedestal of consumer preference.

The Asia Wine Trophy competition is held every year in South Korea with the participation of more than 4,000 labels from various countries, with high-profile judges with international credentials. The tasting process follows strict blind tasting protocols, ensuring objectivity and reliability. Winning this award is a true seal of quality and international recognition, something that Samian Muscat wines enjoy all over the world.

It is no coincidence that Samos Vin Doux – the sweet wine that has literally become synonymous with Samos, has been honored with more than 100 international awards, while the highly successful label of the white dry muscat «"High Peaks"», in addition to gold, he has also won «"Diamond" awards, the highest international wine distinction!

The new double distinction reflects the timeless quality of Samian production and constitutes rewarding the ancestral tireless effort of winegrowers of Samos and the dynamics of the Samian vineyard that resists climate change, evolves and keeps the wine tradition of the border island high.
