Ecclesiastical wine
Description
“Fruit of the vine” (Matt. 26:29), novi et aeterni testamenti".
Produced by the United Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos with the blessing of the Holy Metropolis of Samos and Ikaria, this wine is crafted specifically for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. It is a blend of red and white Muscat varieties with high density, designed to maintain its flavor balance when mixed with the zeon (boiling water). Its velvety taste, deep crimson color, and fruity aroma—quality in its purest simplicity—along with its clean and full-bodied texture, transport the mind to the Last Supper of Jesus and His Apostles. It perfectly renders the taste and purity of that sacred wine which Christ offered to His Disciples, saying: 'Drink of it, all of you; for this is my Blood...' (Matt. 26:27-28). It features a rich red hue and complex aromas of muscat, dried fruits, nuts, honey, beeswax, and frankincense.
