Ecclesiastical wine
Description
«"from the fruit of the vine" (Matthew 29:29) of the extremes of the northeastern Aegean.
It is produced by the Unified Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos with the blessing of the Holy Metropolis of Samos and Ikaria for the celebration of the Divine Eucharist. It comes from red and white Muscat varieties with high density to balance the taste, due to mixing with boiling water. Its velvety taste, purple color and fruity aroma, the quality in its simplicity, its purity, its clean and rich texture, travel the mind to the moment when Jesus and His Apostles were at the Last Supper. It perfectly conveys the taste and quality of that pure and clean wine that Christ gave to His Apostles, telling them "Drink from it, all of you, this is my Blood.." It has a red color and aromas of muscat, dried fruits and nuts, honey, wax and incense.
