Eucharistic Wine

Description

«Drink from it, all of you; for this is my Blood…» (Matt. 26:27-28), “Hic est enim calix Sanguinis mei, novi et aeterni testamenti” [For this is the cup of my Blood, of the new and eternal covenant].

The Eucharistic Wine produced by the Unified Winemaking Agricultural Cooperative of Samos is the epitome of tradition, purity and ecclesiastical order. It is created from the finest varieties of the Samian vineyard, the famous White Small-Rose Muscat and the rare Black Muscat, with the blessing of the Catholic Church and in full compliance with the dictates of Canon Law.

It is an «incorruptible» wine, characterized by a high sugar density, thus ensuring that it maintains its flavor balance and full structure even after mixing with the «Water of Union» in the Holy Chalice. Its deep purple color, symbol of the Divine Passions, is framed by a rich aromatic bouquet, where the classic aroma of muscat meets notes of dried fruits, honey, wax and incense.

The velvety texture and the quality hidden in its simplicity transport the aroma of the Greek land to the Holy Altar, taking the mind to the moment of the Last Supper. It is a wine that reverently conveys the taste and purity of the wine that Christ offered to His Disciples, embodying the continuity of tradition through the words: «Drink from it, all of you; for this is my Blood…», “Hic est enim calix Sanguinis mei, novi et aeterni testamenti”.
