Dry Wines

High Peaks

The High Peaks is the flagship of the Cooperative's dry wines. A wine with an elegant character, where the fruity and floral aromas of Muscat are expressed in a refined way. In appearance we have a yellowish light-colored wine, with aromas of rose petals, apricot and lemon overwhelming the nose. Delicate and light taste, with a sweetness that wins you over, while we elegantly encounter the character of Muscat with refreshing acidity and satisfactory length. The grapes for its production come exclusively from the best mountain vineyards of the island, on old dry stone terraces and an altitude of up to 1,000 meters.

DRY Wines

Moscato Aspro

This is a dry white wine that comes from semi-mountainous, dry vineyards, stacked on dry stone terraces. Its appearance is particularly attractive with a bright light yellow color and greenish highlights. Aromatically it is rich and "full", reminiscent of the smell of ripe, white-fleshed fruits, such as peach, apricot and melon, which spread against a background of extremely discreet expression of the Muscat character. With a complex mouth, it is intensely fruity, with a full and round flavor.
Natural Wines

Natural Wine "The Vounitis"

It comes from organically grown vineyards at 1,100 m. altitude on the top of Mount Karvouni above the villages of Vourliotes, Ampelo and Pandroso, in the Xepagiasmeno location. It is a wine with high acidity, straight and typical, particularly dry and full-bodied, with fruity aromas, hints of yeast and herbs, a long aftertaste. It has 12 months of tank maturation and "French eggs". It was bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulfites.

Natural Wines

Natural Wine "The Hermit"

It comes from a remote biodynamic vineyard in Vasilikohorafa, Kontakaikon, at an altitude of 650 m. It is an orange wine with an intense aromatic character, expressive, mineral, earthy and bucolic, with iodized notes and an impressive aftertaste. It was fermented with whole berries in amphorae, matured in oval tanks for 12 months and aged in oak barrels for 6 months. It was bottled unfiltered, unfined and without added sulfites.
Natural Wines

Natural Wine "The Prophet"

It comes from a sunny organic vineyard in the "Paliamela" location of the village of Pagonda, at an altitude of 450 m. It is a captivating wine, particularly aromatic, with notes of dried citrus fruits and Muscat raisins. Its taste is elegant, soft and round. It was fermented and matured for 12 months in special oval tanks and, like all "Intact Wines", it was bottled unfiltered, unfined and without the addition of sulfites.
Semi-dry Wines

BaBeloenos White Semi-Dry

This is a single-varietal wine made from Muscat grapes, originating from semi-mountainous vineyards. This wine bears the impressive characteristics of the noble Muscat variety. Its aromas refer first to the grape itself and, in a secondary reading, to fresh and ripe fruits, such as apricots, apples and citrus fruits. Some exotic fruits are also distinct, such as banana, lychee, pineapple, mango and kiwi.
Semi-dry Wines

BaBeloenos Rosé Semi-Dry

An excellent combination of three indigenous varieties of the Samian vineyard: Fokiano, Avgoustiati and Muscat. Complex and charming nose, where aromas of wild cherry and lemon blossoms are the protagonists. In the mouth it is rich, balanced and fresh, with notes of early summer fruits and green lemon. It rests on the wonderful acidity of the rare Avgoustiati, offering a crystal clear aroma of stone cherry and watermelon, tasty liveliness and good body. In the end it reserves a long-lasting aftertaste, with a sense of lime that perfectly balances the sweetness of the semi-dry.
Vin de liqueur

Samos Vin Doux

It belongs to the Vins de Liqueur (fortified wines) category and is the most popular wine of Samos, and is exported all over the world. The so-called "liquid gold", with its light golden color, comes from semi-mountainous and mountainous terraces. Both its appearance and smell are particularly attractive. Aromas of apricot jam and ripe melon dominate, while hints of butterscotch and flowers can be distinguished in the mouth. The first contact with the mouth is explosive, with a feast of aromas and flavors, revolving around the Muscat grape, expressed in an extremely fresh way.
Vin de liqueur

Samos Anthemis

A wonderful vin de liqueur produced from Muscat grapes from the semi-mountainous vineyards of Samos. The wine is then aged for 5 years in oak barrels, where it acquires an attractive brownish-yellow color and a charming bouquet of aromas reminiscent of flowers, honey, tobacco, chocolate and dried fruits. Aromas of honeycomb, butterscotch, spoon sweets, cherries in alcohol and nuts, compose a particularly complex and dense aromatic profile.
Dry Wines

Ancaeus

dry red wine, from the mountainous-semi-mountainous slopes of the Samian vineyard with a characteristic purple color and red-violet highlights. The red fruits of the forest initially dominate the nose. Its balanced acidity makes it pleasant without tiring. In the mouth it displays freshness, which is gradually succeeded by discreet peppery notes, while the complexity culminates in the "slip" from the palate. The evident tannins and the spicy elements in the aftertaste, compose a fleshy character with a consequential robust wine that enhances the rebellion of the senses.
Sweet Wines

Samos Grand Cru

A classic Natural Sweet Wine (Natural sweet wine) from white muscat. It is produced from well-ripened grapes from selected semi-mountainous vineyards, formed on terraces. The yield per hectare is limited, with 530 kg per hectare. The Grand Cru is distinguished by its bright golden color, reminiscent of topaz, and its aromatic richness that combines the memories of the grape with the aromas of honey and honeycomb, as well as exotic fruit confit.
Sweet Wines

Samos Nectar

A great one dry wine which carries the heritage of Greek tradition from prehistoric times to the present day. Derived from overripe, sun-dried grapes and having ripened for 6 years in oak barrels, this wine is among the world's top wines. Its bouquet is dominated by raisins, honey and nuts, while its long aftertaste reveals complex notes of tobacco, butterscotch, walnut and ripe orange, with subtle hints of clove.
Sweet Wines

Samos Fyllas

With a bright yellow-golden color, the organic Fyllas comes from selected organic vineyards. The nose is dominated by intense, harmonious aromas of apricot and fruit compote. This is an excellent sweet Muscat wine, with a soft and balanced acidity. Its elegant body highlights the characteristic notes of the variety, which unfold against a background of ripe fruit and nuts.
COLLECTIBLE WINES

Samos 1963

For 60 whole years, it waited like a "sleeping beauty" for the kiss of wine lovers who would "awaken" the memories and aromas of the Samian vineyard from a landmark year for Samos Muscat!

The Samos 1963 is a part of Greek wine history, as it takes us back in time, bringing back memories of flavors and aromas of the 60s. Quite dark in color, elegant, with intense and complex aromas of chocolate, roasted coffee beans, spices, molasses, tobacco, honey, nuts and dried figs.

“Wine is life” (Vinum est vita): with this phrase, the importance of wine is underlined
as an integral part of human life and its pleasures. – HORATIUS.

The king variety is the White Muscat of Samos (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains), also known locally as “moschoudi.” It is a noble grape variety, widely cultivated throughout the Mediterranean. Although it is also found in other parts of Greece and around the world, where it likewise produces sweet wines, it is only in Samos that its finest character is fully expressed.
The White Muscat covers the 98% of the Samos vineyard area. The remaining 2% is shared among red wine grape varieties, namely Ritino, Fokiano, and Avgoustiatis.
